Syntax
'Declaration

Public Enum ViewPropertyMode

   Inherits System.Enum
'Usage

Dim instance As ViewPropertyMode
public enum ViewPropertyMode : System.Enum
Members
MemberDescription
NoneThe property on which the ViewPropertyAttribute is set cannot be accessed through a ViewBinding.
Routed

The attached property on which the ViewPropertyAttribute is set will be accessible through a ViewBinding and will redirect to the appropriate DetailConfigurations for its value, when applicable.

If a detail configuration does not explicitly define a value for the property, the view's default property value will be used.

RoutedNoFallback

The attached property on which the ViewPropertyAttribute is set will be accessible through a ViewBinding and will redirect to the appropriate DetailConfigurations for its value, when applicable.

If a detail configuration does not explicitly define a value for the property, the view's default property value will NOT be used.

ViewOnlyThe property on which the ViewPropertyAttribute is set will be accessible through a ViewBinding. If defined on a table-view property, it will not be possible to provide an alternate value for DetailConfigurations.
Example
All examples in this topic assume that the grid is bound to the Employees table of the Northwind database, unless stated otherwise.
The following example demonstrates how to set routed view properties on detail configurations to change the width of their detail indicators as well as to fix columns and remove the fixed-column splitter.
<Grid xmlns:xcdg="http://schemas.xceed.com/wpf/xaml/datagrid"

      xmlns:local="clr-namespace:Xceed.Wpf.Documentation">

  <Grid.Resources>

     <xcdg:DataGridCollectionViewSource x:Key="cvs_employees"

                                        Source="{Binding Source={x:Static Application.Current},

                                                    Path=Employees}" />

  </Grid.Resources>

  <xcdg:DataGridControl x:Name="EmployeesGrid"
