Show(String,String,MessageBoxButton,Style) Method

A string representing the text to display.
A System.String that specifies the title bar caption to display.
A System.Windows.MessageBoxButton value that specifies which button or buttons to display.
A Style representing the style that will be applied to the MessageBox.
Displays a message box that has a message, a title bar caption, a buttons selection, a style and that returns a result.

Parameters

messageText
A string representing the text to display.
caption
A System.String that specifies the title bar caption to display.
button
A System.Windows.MessageBoxButton value that specifies which button or buttons to display.
messageBoxStyle
A Style representing the style that will be applied to the MessageBox.

Return Value

A MessageBoxResult value that specifies which message box button is clicked by the user.
Requirements

Target Platforms: Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
