NavigationBehavior Property (DataGridControl)

Gets or sets a value indicating how the focus navigates from one element to another in the grid.

Property Value

A NavigationBehavior indicating how the focus navigates from one element to another in the grid. By default, NavigationBehavior.CellOnly.

Member Description
None Navigation is not permitted in a grid. Elements cannot receive the focus.

The CurrentItem and SelectedItem/SelectedItems properties must be set to a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) in order to reset them when the NavigationBehavior property is set to None.

RowOnly Navigation is row based. Cells will never receive the focus.
CellOnly Navigation is cell based.
RowOrCell Navigation is row based unless a cell in a row is clicked. If a cell is clicked, then navigation from cell to cell within the row is permitted. Once the focus is moved out of the row, navigation returns to row based.

Remarks
