IsGroupExpanded Method (DataGridControl)

Retrieves a value indicating whether the specified master group is expanded.

Parameters

group: A CollectionViewGroup representing the master group whose state to query.

Return Value

true if the group is expanded; false otherwise.

Exceptions

Exception	Description
System.InvalidOperationException	The specified CollectionViewGroup is not a master group.

Remarks

This method will return the actual state of the group regardless of its parent's state. For example, if the group is expanded but contained in a parent group that is collapsed, true will be returned.
