BeginningEdit Event (DataGridCollectionViewBase)

Raised when the EditItem method has been called to signal that the edit process of an item in the underlying data source is about to begin.

Event Data

The event handler receives an argument of type DataGridItemCancelEventArgs containing data related to this event. The following DataGridItemCancelEventArgs properties provide information specific to this event.

Remarks
Usually, the existing values contained in an item are preserved during the BeginningEdit event and restored when CancelingEdit is raised.
