The Node SmartItem is one of the preferred SmartItems for the SmartTreeView SmartControl and is designed to be used as a node. 

Although the Node SmartItem is the SmartTreeView's preferred SmartItems, it can also be used with any other SmartControl.

Things you should consider

• Do you want to provide extra text for a node? Set its ExtraText property. 

• Do you want to display an image? Set the item's Image or ImageIndex property.
