Parameters

stream

The stream whose checksum will be calculated.

previousAdler

The Adler32 checksum from a previous call to CalculateAdler32 or 0 if a new CRC should be calculated.

Return Value

The method expects the stream to be open and ready for reading.

The stream will be read 8 KB at a time.

The method will not close the stream when the end is reached.

Target Platforms: Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
