Overview

RealTimeZipSample is a console application that demonstrates the classes and members available for reading from and writing to Zip archives. It specifically demonstrates the use of the following:

• ZipItemLocalHeader class and its CompressionMethod, CompressionLevel, FileName, and EncryptionMethod properties
• ZipWriter class
• WriteItemLocalHeader method
• WriteItemData method
• CloseZipFile method
• ZipReader class
• ReadItemLocalHeader method
• ReadItemData method
• ByteProgression event (ZipWriter class, ZipReader class)
• ZipWriterByteProgressionEventArgs class and its BytesProcessed and ZipItemLocalHeader properties
• ZipReaderByteProgressionEventArgs class and its BytesProcessed and ZipItemLocalHeader properties
• InvalidPassword event (ZipReader class)
• ZipReaderInvalidPasswordEventArgs class and its Abort and NewPassword properties
