DefaultTextEncoding Property

Gets or sets the default text encoding that will be applied to files that are added to the zip file.

Property Value

A TextEncoding value representing the default text encoding that will be applied to files that are added to the zip file. By default, TextEncoding.Standard.

Remarks

This property doesn't apply when unzipping files. The library automatically detects the correct text encoding to use based on the
headers inside the zip file.

This property decides the text encoding to be used in the main zip headers. As such, it doesn't affect the Unicode, UTF8Filename and UTF8Comment extra headers.
