CanEvaluate Method (InputCellValueCriterion)

Returns a boolean value indicating if the validation expression can be evaluated.

Parameters

componentToValidate: The object to perform the evaluation on.

Return Value

Returns true if the validation expression is well formatted and has all required operands and operators to be evaluated on the passed input System.ComponentModel.Component, false otherwise.

Remarks

When overriding this method in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's method before your own code so that the base class's criteria can be evaluated first.
