Property Value

The ambient index is the index inherited from the RowSelectorPane in the case where the RowSelector's DefaultImageIndex property is not explicitly set.

If the value of the IsDefaultImageIndexAmbient property is true then both the AmbientDefaultImageIndex and DefaultImageIndex properties will return the same value.

If the RowSelector does not have an ambient parent (RowSelectorPane), then the value of the DefaultDefaultImageIndex property will be returned.
