Property Value

The ambient value is inherited from the grid element's parent in the case where its own ReadOnly property is not explicitly set.

If the value of the IsReadOnlyAmbient property is true then both the AmbientReadOnly and ReadOnly properties will return the same value.

If the grid element does not have an ambient parent, then the value of the DefaultReadOnly property will be returned.
