Property Value

The ambient foreground color is the forecolor inherited from the grid element's parent in the case where its own ForeColor property is not explicitly set.

If the value of the IsForeColorAmbient property is true then both the AmbientForeColor and ForeColor properties will return the same value.

If the grid element does not have an ambient parent, then the value of the DefaultForeColor property will be returned.
