AmbientWordWrap Property (DataRow)

Gets the ambient value of the datarow's WordWrap property.

Property Value

true if the text of the DataRow should be wrapped; false otherwise.

Remarks

The ambient value is inherited from the DataRow's parent in the case where its own WordWrap property is not explicitly set.

If the value of the GridElement.IsWordWrapAmbient property is true then both the AmbientWordWrap and WordWrap properties will return the same value.

When overriding AmbientWordWrap in a derived class, if the base implementation of AmbientWordWrap is not returned the alternation of datarow styles will no longer function.
