AmbientVerticalAlignment Property (DataRow)

Gets the ambient value of the datarow's VerticalAlignment property.

Property Value

A VerticalAlignment value representing the vertical alignment of the DataRow's content.

Remarks

The ambient vertical alignment is the alignment inherited from the DataRow's parent in the case where its own VerticalAlignment property is not explicitly set.

If the value of the GridElement.IsVerticalAlignmentAmbient property is true then both the AmbientVerticalAlignment and VerticalAlignment properties will return the same value.

When overriding AmbientVerticalAlignment in a derived class, if the base implementation of AmbientVerticalAlignment is not returned the alternation of datarow styles will no longer function.
