AmbientFont Property (DataRow)

Gets the ambient value of the datarow's Font property.

Property Value

A reference to a System.Drawing.Font object representing the ambient font of the DataRow.
Remarks

The ambient font is the font inherited from the DataRow's parent in the case where its own Font property is not explicitly set.

If the value of the GridElement.IsFontAmbient property is true then both the AmbientFont and Font properties will return the same value.

When overriding AmbientFont in a derived class, if the base implementation of AmbientFont is not returned the alternation of datarow styles will no longer function.
