AmbientParent Property (Column)

Gets the ambient parent of the column.

Property Value

A reference to a DetailGrid object represented by ParentGrid which in turn represents the grid. a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) in the case where the column does not have a parent grid.

Remarks

An ambient parent is a parent from whom property values will be inherited in the case where the column's properties are not explicitly set.
