Gets the default value of the NullValue property.

Property Value

An object representing the default value of the NullValue property. Unless overridden, a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Remarks

When overriding DefaultNullValue in a derived class, IsNullValueAmbient should also be overridden to return false.

The value returned by your implementation of DefaultNullValue should not be dynamic.
