Property Value

The ambient vertical alignment is the alignment inherited from the cell's parent in the case where its own VerticalAlignment property is not explicitly set.

If the value of the GridElement.IsVerticalAlignmentAmbient property is true then both the AmbientVerticalAlignment and VerticalAlignment properties will return the same value.
