Exists Property (FileSystemItem)

Gets a boolean value indicating if the item physically exists.

Property Value

true if the item physically exists; false otherwise.

Remarks

This property should be evaluated before calling a method that needs to access the underlying physical item (For example, CopyTo(AbstractFolder,Boolean)), otherwise these methods will throw an exception.

Refresh does not need to be called before accessing this property. The property will always reflect the physical item's existence.
