Parameters

item

The fixed footer item that is associated with the DataGridHeaderFooterAutomationPeer.

This automation peer remains in memory until the associated item is destroyed.

The same instance of the automation peer is returned from subsequent calls to this method and calls to FromElement. The type of the peer is determined by the OnCreateAutomationPeer virtual callback. If item does not implement the callback, no automation peer is created, and this method returns null (Nothing in Visual Basic).
