Gets or sets a value indicating if literal characters in the input mask should be used to calculate the numeric value of the input text.

Property Value

true if literal characters in the input mask should be used to calculate the numeric value of the input text; false otherwise. By default, true.
Remarks

ValueDataType must be set to a numeric type in order to correctly calculate the value from the input text and place the result in Value.

The purpose of this property is to allow the negative sign ("-") to be used in a MaskedTextBox and to have it included in the calculated numeric value of the input text.
