Xceed Chart for WinForms v4.4 Documentation
Source Code Information (Blueprint Subscription)
Welcome to Xceed Chart for WinForms v4.4 > Source Code Information (Blueprint Subscription)

The complete C# source code of Xceed Chart for WinForms for the following assemblies is available through a Blueprint subscription:

  • Xceed.Chart.dll

  • Xceed.Chart.Core.dll

  • Xceed.Chart.DataManipulation.dll

  • Xceed.Chart.Server.dll

  • Xceed.Chart.Standard.dll

  • Xceed.Chart.Renderer.exe

  • Xceed.Chart.Renderer.Service.exe

All the files required in order to compile and build these .NET assemblies are also included. The source code available through a Blueprint subscription are delivered in a separate installation kit from the main Xceed Chart for WinForms package, and are provided only to registered users who have purchased a Blueprint subscription.

Note: All source code comments and remarks from the original development Xceed Chart for WinForms source code have been preserved in the source code to increase its value for educational purposes.

The source code available through a Blueprint subscription contains valuable and proprietary trade secrets of Xceed Software Inc. and its use is strictly subject to the terms and conditions of the XCEED SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT included with the source code.

Specifically what source code is not included?

The Blueprint source code does NOT include the source code of the following assemblies:

  • Xceed.Chart.GraphicsCore.dll

  • Xceed.Chart.Graphics2D.dll

  • Xceed.Chart.GraphicsGL.dll

  • Xceed.Chart.UIControls.dll

  • Xceed.Chart.Utilities.dll

Usage instructions and recommendations

To use the source code provided by a Blueprint subscription, simply run the Xceed.Chart.Blueprint.exe self-extracting zip file to unzip the source code files into the suggested folder or the folder of your choice and then load the Xceed.Chart.sln file into Visual Studio and build the projects.

The resulting assemblies do not have a "strong name" embedded within them, and so it is not possible to register them in the .NET Global Assembly Cache. Please refer to the Microsoft .NET documentation on how to assign a strong name to an assembly.

If you wish to distribute the assemblies you have built from the Blueprint subscription source code, it is strongly recommended that you rename the assemblies in order to make them identifiable to both you and Xceed as a corrected or modified version. Remember that distribution of Blueprint subscription source code (whether compiled or in source code form) is strictly subject to the terms and conditions of the license agreement.
